Description
The MVI56-HART is a ProSoft HART Master Multiple-Drop Network Interface module that is classified under the ControlLogix series. The MVI56-HART is a single-slot module that comes with the local or the remote rack type. The module features the ladder logic data transfer type and it comes with up to 99 universal and common practice commands per port. The MVI56-HART can host a maximum of 15 devices per port. The MVI56-HART is a 4 independent HART Master Port type and comes with a shock absorption capacity of 30 grams at the operational status. The backplane current load for the module is 800 mA at 5 Volts DC.
The ControlLogix modules feature a new standard for PLCs, helping to ensure a high level of performance of the application and making sure there is a user-friendly environment. The ControlLogix controllers come with a memory option that can go to up to 8 megabytes, supporting an intensive process application and allowing for the fast processing of the motion applications. The MVI56-HART is a perfect solution for the industrial applications used in the chemical and the refining operations. The MVI56-HART is also used in gas and liquid distribution systems and in the remote offshore monitoring stations addressing the aspects of application control, the acquiring of data, and also the maintenance of applications. The MVI56-HART allows the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix I/O compatible processors to communicate easily with the HART slave devices. The module interfaces with up to 15 devices on each one of the HART channels.
