Based on the eddy current effect, the system measures the gap change between the metal target surface (such as the shaft surface) and the probe end through electromagnetic induction. In terms of environmental adaptability, the probe can work stably in an environment of -40℃ to +150℃ (high temperature type up to +200℃), the extended cable temperature resistance is -50℃ to +120℃, the shielded cable design effectively reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI/RFI), and the probe usually has an IP67 protection level, oil-proof, dust-proof and chemical-resistant. The system components are flexible in configuration. The sensors are available in different diameters such as 5mm/8mm/11mm, support threaded or flange installation, and are made of stainless steel or corrosion-resistant alloy.
