Bently Nevada 330881-28-07-155-03-02 PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer Assembly

The PROXPAC XL proximity sensor assembly is designed similarly to our 31000/32000 series proximity probe housings. This assembly offers the same advantages and features as the 31000 and 32000 housings, providing easy access and external adjustment of the proximity probe. Furthermore, the PROXPAC XL assembly housing incorporates the 3300 XL proximity sensor. This design makes the PROXPAC XL assembly a completely self-contained proximity sensor system, eliminating the need for an extension cable between the probe and the sensor. Since field wiring can be connected directly to the monitor and the PROXPAC XL assembly, a separate proximity sensor enclosure is also unnecessary. The PROXPAC XL housing is made of poly(p-phenylene sulfide) (PPS), an advanced engineering plastic. This material replaces the steel and aluminum previously used in Bently Nevada products. Additionally, glass fibers and conductive fibers are added to the PPS to enhance the housing's strength and more effectively dissipate static electricity. The PROXPAC XL housing meets NEMA 4X and IP66 ingress protection standards, providing extra protection in harsh environments.
