The Allen-Bradley 1757-SRM ProcessLogix and ControlLogix System Redundancy Module is part of a special machine system designed to guarantee the continuing operation of critical processes by providing redundant platforms in the event of major system failures. In the event of a major failure in the primary PLC, the redundancy system detects the failure and allows the secondary PLC to take control of the machine or process in order to keep it running.
