Overview
The 1771-NOC is a high-resolution isolated output analog module from Allen-Bradley and it is part of the 1771 Series N high-resolution modules. The module supports current outputs only. The outputs operate within a current range of between 0 and 25 milliamperes. The 1771-NOC has an output resolution of 3.2µA per bit with 13 bits unipolar. The module has an output impedance that is greater than 1MΩ and an output maximum drive capability of 20 milliamps at 0 to 1 kilo ohm and 25 milliamps at 0 to 700 ohms.

product details

The Allen Bradley 1771-NOC is one edition in the High-resolution Isolated Analog Modules series. The high resolution and accuracy of this module allow the user to control processes with a tighter tolerance. The Allen Bradley 1771-NOC has 16-bit input and 14-bit output resolution. This module has 0.01% typical accuracy based on 65,000 count capability over Full-Scale Range (FSR). Equipped with programmable reset values for outputs, it selects the best reset value specified by the application requirements (each channel is configured independently). The 1771-NOC has a power dissipation of 5.5 Watts at 5 Volts. The operating temperature of this unit ranges from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit), and its storage temperature ranges from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit). Its relative humidity is usually between 5% and 95% without condensation and it has a maximum backplane current of 1.1 A. Its output range fluctuates between 0 and 25 mA, and the output impedance of this module is > 1 MΩ while its output overvoltage protection is 140 Volts AC RMS continuous. The Offset Drift of this module is ±1.0 µA/degree Celsius, the Gain drift is ±50 ppm/degree Celsius, and its calibration value is 0.5 mA/22 mA. Its maximum update time is 25 milliseconds and has a ramping value of minimum 0.16 mA per second and maximum 32 mA per second. This module is sensitive to electrostatic discharge, which can cause internal damage and affect normal operation. Follow the guidebook when handling this unit.
