1785-ENET/C | AB Ethernet Interface Module

The 1785-ENET Series C communication module that has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation is made to process messages from other machines connected to them on the same network, even if the machines are in different parts of the factory or industrial plant. As many as 4 of these modules can be connected to the same communication system. The 1785-ENET Series C communication module has a conformal coating to protect it from small particles of debris, small amounts of water, and certain kinds of chemicals. This module can connect directly to an Allen-Bradley PLC-5 processor on channel 3 of the PLC-5. It does not need an external power source. The users can wire this communication module easily with the Allen-Bradley 1771-WN wiring arm. The 1785-ENET Series C communication module weighs about 0.3 pounds or 0.1 kilograms.

• SNMP network management: Supports SNMPv1, enabling integration with the factory network management system (NMS). This allows real-time monitoring of module communication status and network traffic, providing early warning of network congestion.
