The Allen-Bradley 1783-EMS08T switch is a managed Ethernet switch. It comes with eight 10/100 Mbps rated RJ45 ports and an optional fiber port. The SFP modules supported by the switch include the 1783-SFP1GSX and 1783-SFP1GLX modules. The 1783-EMS08T switch is part of the Stratix 6000 series. The rated power input for the 1783-EMS08T switch is 250 milliamps at 24 Volts DC. The range of input voltages supported by the switch is 12 to 48 Volts DC. The peak power dissipation for the 1783-EMS08T switch is 5.8 Watts and the peak thermal dissipation is 24.6 BTU/hour at 60 degrees Celsius. The network protocols supported by the switch include the TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Telnet, Http, DHCP, BOOTP, FTP, IGMP, and the SMTP protocols.
