• Gap Calibration Prohibitions: Adjusting the probe gap while the shaft is rotating is strictly prohibited. Calibration must be stopped. Excessive gap (>2.54mm) will result in signal loss, while too small a gap may cause damage to the probe and shaft surface.
• Cable Protection Tips: The cable bend radius must be no less than 50mm to avoid squeezing or pulling. In high-temperature areas, use an insulating sleeve to prevent the cable sheath from aging and cracking.
• Shaft Surface Requirements: The measured shaft surface roughness must be ≤1.6μm and the diameter must be ≥24mm (at least three times the probe diameter). Otherwise, the stability of the eddy current sensing signal will be affected.
• Grounding Specifications: The probe cable shield must only be grounded at the preamplifier end. Multiple grounding points are prohibited to prevent ground loops that interfere with signal transmission.
