Q: What are the core differences between the two models (82/83)?
A: The only difference is the standard cable length (5 m for the 82 model, 10 m for the 83 model). Other performance parameters are identical and can be selected based on the installation location and distance from the sensor.
Q: Can the sensor measure non-ferrous metal targets (such as aluminum alloy)?
A: The default model only supports ferrous metals. If you need to measure non-ferrous metals (such as aluminum and copper), a customized probe is required (please contact the manufacturer for target material specifications).
Q: Can it be used at operating temperatures exceeding 121°C?
A: The standard model has a maximum temperature resistance of 121°C. If higher temperatures (such as 150°C or 200°C) are required, a high-temperature customized model (such as the 3300 XL HT series) is available.
Q: How can I determine if the sensor is functioning properly?
A: Judge by the output signal of the proximitor: when there is no target surface, the output is about -2 V DC. When the target surface is within the measurement range, the output is -2 V to -10 V DC. If the signal is abnormal, check the probe installation, cable connection or proximitor status.
