The Velomitor CT velocity sensor is a low-frequency version of our standard Velomitor piezoelectric velocity sensor. It is specifically designed to measure the case vibration velocity of cooling tower and air-cooled heat exchanger fan assemblies, which rotate at speeds of 90 rpm or greater (typically 100 to 300 rpm). The Velomitor CT sensor measures the vibration amplitude at these frequencies, as well as the vibration frequencies generated by the fan motor and reducer.
