Measurement principle and core functions
This monitoring component is based on eddy current sensor technology. It uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to generate eddy current effect through the change of the gap (displacement) between the probe and the metal surface to be measured, and outputs a voltage signal proportional to the vibration or displacement. The core functions include rotating machinery shaft vibration measurement (applicable to steam turbines, compressors, motors and other equipment), and shaft radial/axial displacement detection (such as shaft center position, expansion difference and other parameter monitoring).

The probe can operate in a temperature range of -40°C to +177°C, with a protection level of IP67 and above, and is dust-proof, oil-proof, and moisture-proof, and can adapt to harsh industrial environments.

It can be seamlessly integrated with Bently Nevada 3300/3500 series monitoring systems and supports dynamic signal input; standard cable lengths include 5m and 9m options, which must be matched with the preamplifier. During installation, the initial gap must be set according to the regulations (such as 1.0mm±0.1mm) to ensure linear output. The surface to be measured must be conductive metal (such as steel) and the area must be more than 3 times the diameter of the probe.
