The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1734-IE2V module is an analog input module from Allen-Bradley's point I/O series of analog input modules. It comes with a key switch that can be set in 3 different positions. The 1734-IE2V input module is has an enclosure that is Open-Type. This enclosure is not waterproof or rated for protecting the input module from large or heavy amounts of dust or pieces of debris.

Application Areas

1. High-precision process control
The 1734-IE2V dual-channel analog input module is designed for industrial scenarios that require precise signal acquisition. It supports ±10V voltage signal input and 16-bit resolution, and is suitable for real-time monitoring of key parameters such as pressure, flow, and temperature. In chemical reactor control, the pressure and temperature signals in the reactor can be collected simultaneously and transmitted to the ControlLogix processor via EtherNet/IP to achieve closed-loop regulation and ensure the stability of the reaction process.
2. Equipment status monitoring and predictive maintenance
The high sampling rate characteristics (1kHz) of this module make it an ideal choice for vibration analysis and motor health monitoring. In the wind power gearbox monitoring system, an accelerometer can be connected to collect vibration signals in real time, and signs of bearing wear can be detected in advance through FFT analysis. Combined with FactoryTalk Analytics, predictive maintenance can be achieved to reduce unplanned downtime.
3. Test measurement and data acquisition
Laboratory and production line test equipment often require high-precision voltage measurement. The ±0.1% full-scale accuracy and channel-to-channel isolation design of the 1734-IE2V can meet the needs of multi-channel synchronous acquisition. For example, in a battery charge and discharge test bench, the voltage changes of multiple battery cells are monitored simultaneously, and the data is uploaded to the MES system in real time through the POINT I/O architecture to ensure the integrity of the test data.
