Precautions
- Measured Surface Requirements: The surface roughness of the metal being measured must be ≤ Ra 1.6μm, and the surface flatness deviation must be ≤ 0.1mm. If rust or oil is present on the surface, clean it in advance. Otherwise, it will affect the eddy current effect and increase measurement error.
- Overtemperature Protection: When the operating temperature of the equipment exceeds 150°C, replace the probe with a high-temperature probe (such as the 330102 series ETR version) to prevent the insulation layer of the internal coil of a standard probe from aging due to high temperatures, causing signal drift or probe damage.
- Avoid Mechanical Shock: During installation and maintenance, do not strike the probe tip or pull on the cable. If the probe tip is deformed or worn, replace it immediately. Failure to do so will seriously affect measurement accuracy and may even render the probe useless.
- Regular Maintenance Inspection: Perform on-site maintenance every six months to check the probe's installation tightness and the connector's seal (for oil, dirt, or moisture infiltration). Verify the probe's sensitivity using a calibration block to ensure long-term stable operation.
