⚙️ Pre-Installation Preparation

• Lock out/tag out equipment and disconnect preamplifier power.
• Prepare tools: 0.001mm micrometer, cable clamps. Inspect cable for damage and clean connectors.
• Verify target surface: AISI 4140 steel (or calibrate for other materials), roughness ≤1μm RMS .

⚙️ Installation Steps

• Vibration Measurement: Mount two probes at 90° (±5°) on the bearing housing (45° from vertical centerline). Adjust initial gap to 1.27mm (midpoint of linear range) for -10V zero voltage .
• Displacement Measurement: Position the probe along the shaft axis. Set the shaft to the midpoint of total axial movement, then adjust the probe gap to achieve -10V output .
• Wiring: Route the cable with ≥30mm bend radius, keep ≥30cm from power cables. Connect ClickLoc connector to the extension cable until a "click" is heard. Ground the shield only at the preamplifier end .

⚙️ Post-Installation Testing

• Verify system sensitivity is within 7.87 V/mm±3% using an oscilloscope.
• Manual shaft rotation should show continuous displacement signals and clear keyphasor pulses.
• 1-hour load operation: Signal fluctuation ≤±0.05mm with no interference .
