1. The exposed plastic surface of the Probeswith 50 mm diameter, under certainextreme circumstances, may generatean ignition-capable level of electrostaticcharge. Therefore, this version of theequipment shall not be installed in alocation where the external conditionsare conducive to the build-up ofelectrostatic charge on the plasticsurface. In addition, the equipment shallonly be cleaned with a damp cloth. This isparticularly important if the equipment isinstalled in a Zone 0 location.
2. The end user is to ensure appropriateearthing upon installation.
Zone 2:
1. This product is not resistant to light asrequired by the relevant clause of EN60079-0, therefore, it shall only beinstalled in a location where it is notexposed to direct sunlight or any othersource of ultra-violet (UV) light.
2. The connector shall not be disconnectedwhile the circuit is live unless the area isknown to be non-hazardous.
3. The end user is to ensure appropriateearthing upon installation.
